Madhva’s Logic is an English translation of Pramāna Chandrika written by Chalari Seshacharya.
Pramana Chandrika follows Pramana Paddhati by Sri Jayatirtha or Teekarayaru which is a commentary on Sri Madhvacharya’s Pramana Lakshana.
Sri Chalari Acharya, in the first invocation shloka, says that the purpose of writing Pramana Chandrika is to enable the beginners to understand the tenets of Dvaita philosophy as proposed by Sri Madhvacharya and Sri Jayatirtha in their respective works.
The present English translation was done by Dr. Susil Kumar Maitra, Lecturer in Philosophy, University of Calcutta. This book has been published by the University of Calcutta in the year 1936.
