BERTRAND RUSSEL ON BOLSHEVISM [COMMUNISM] & MOHAMMEDANISM

BERTRAND RUSSEL ON BOLSHEVISM [COMMUNISM] & MOHAMMEDANISM

Bertrand Russel wrote “Bolshevism [Communism] is to be reckoned with Mohammedanism.” He also said that “Both are practical, social, unspiritual, concerned to win the empire of this world.” [B. Russel, Theory & Practice of Bolshevism, 1921].

What Russel wrote in 1921 has become true in India. From 60’s which saw the rise of Communism to 90’s when Islamic terror began to spread to present times where Communism & Islamic terror have almost got merged. Communists got two pronged attack strategy. (1) through intellectualism & academics (2) armed struggle against the state.

Islamic terror chose the 2nd strategy as Communist intellectuals have also started acting as a front to Islamism.

As Communists started losing sheen since fall of Soviet Union & other Communist regimes in many parts of the world, I think, they started aligning with Islamism ideologically! Kerala & West Bengal could be seen as leading examples in Indian context. The vociferous efforts by Marxist historians to whitewash Islamic terror is what makes me to assume that the dying Communism which doesn’t wish to die is willing to integrate itself with Islamism!

Distortion of Islamic terrorism thus became rampant and with the joining of Liberals, Feminists & other assorted varieties of so called ‘rationalists’ it became mainstream. Movie & Media outlets have started acting as the conduits to further the whitewash.

On the other hand, Hindus have been exposed to the indoctrination of Secularism created by the LeftLibIslamist ecosystem for nearly 70 years. They have been made to suffer inferiority complex & to be apologetic of their legacy. Thus lost the coherence & common goal.

Even in the recent phase of on-going Hindu revival, there are many loose ends that remain unconnected to a single thread. This ‘working-in-isolation’ method must change if a strong Hindu narrative to be built.

I read Prof. @VamseeJuluri ‘s small but excellent eBook-“Writing Across a Cracked World: Hindu Representation and the Logic of Narrative” with a road-map to win the narrative battles.

Writing Across a Cracked World: Hindu Representation and the Logic of Narrative by [Vamsee Juluri]

As BBC was seen gloating over the mythical “propaganda edge” of Imran Khan over Modi & IK’s ‘victory’ in the battle of perception, a collective & strong Hindu Narrative becomes a necessity & not a luxury!
